Nick V Network Community Guidelines

  • We are respectful and courteous to one another. Our faith seasons our conversations. Here are Scripture passages to keep in mind.
    • “So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11 NLT
    • “Gentle words are a tree of life; a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.” Proverbs 15:4 NLT
    • “Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.” 1 Peter 2:17 NIV
    • “Be devoted to tenderly loving your fellow believers as members of one family. Try to outdo yourselves in respect and honor of one another.” Romans 12:10 TPT

  1. Our statement of faith is Bible-inspired. This community is Christ-centered. By joining, you pledge to uphold the statement of faith.

  2. The conversation belongs to everyone. Your contribution is an important part. We want this to be a welcoming space for intellectual discussions, creative problem solving, and diverse dialogues.

  3. We cannot monitor 100% of what’s in NickV Network, so we are asking you to do your part as a good standing member. If you see something questionable or inappropriate, please report it immediately to support@nickv.network or flag content down. The NickV Network team regularly reviews flagged users and content.

  4. Please use discernment when giving another member your personal information. Don’t fall prey to ill motives. Report suspicious activity immediately.

  5. Remember that typed words are not the best indicator of emotion. Sometimes, your intent might be misunderstood. Keep your composure if ever your post is challenged.

  6. The NickV Network team intends to maintain the integrity and health of the community. To that end, we reserve the right to remove posts and curtail conversations. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate user accounts. For example, someone who repeatedly violates the community guidelines will be banned. The platform moderation will enforce the Terms of Use, namely the prohibited uses of the platform.

  7. We adhere to the standards of Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. NickV Network is intended solely for persons who are 13 years of age or older. Any profiles, use of, or access by anyone under 13 years old is unauthorized and prohibited.

Statement of Faith

The NickV Network ascribes to the Lausanne Covenant. We invite those who become part of the community to abide by these principles.

  • There is one eternal God who created and governs the universe. He exists in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The trinity is co-equal and is one true God.
  • The Holy Scripture – the Word of God – in the Old and New Testaments are divinely inspired, infallible, and entirely trustworthy.
  • Our Savior Jesus Christ, who lived as a sinless man, gave himself as the perfect sacrifice for all people. Only by personally following and trusting Jesus Christ can anyone be forgiven and saved.
  • Because God loves us, we are invited to repent from our sins and believe the gospel. The only One who can reconcile us to God is His Son, Lord Jesus Christ.
  • As Christ followers, we are called to fulfill the Great Commission, where all people and all nations will know the gospel – the good news. Christians shall share with non-believers that Jesus Christ died for our sins and was raised from the dead and offers the forgiveness of sins.
  • We value every person as created in the image of God. We are to love and honor our neighbors. We dedicate ourselves to serve those who are hurt, oppressed, and needy.
  • The Church is the community of believers who have the purpose of evangelism and sacrificial service.
  • We affirm unity and cooperation amongst different forms of evangelism.
  • We celebrate the growing partnerships of churches, para-churches, organizations, and missionaries. The power and significance of the Church is strengthened when the Body of Christ works together.
  • Christians are urged to act urgently and with haste to fulfill their roles in the Great Commission work.
  • Conveying the gospel to unreached populations may involve new evangelistic strategies that seek to transform and enrich all societies and culture.
  • We pledge to invest in future Christian leaders by providing them with training, education and mentorship based upon biblical standards.
  • We remain vigilantly alert to spiritual conflict and attacks. We sincerely desire to put on the full armor of God through prayer because we face a dark and deceitful enemy.
  • We pray that leaders of nations will safeguard the freedom to practice our faith. We have deep concern for those who testify to Jesus Christ yet suffer injustice due to government oppression.
  • Through the Holy Spirit, the evangelistic tasks will become a realistic possibility because the Spirit will provide wisdom, faith, holiness, love, and power.
  • We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
